HouMinn teaches "Catalyst" at University of Minnesota

During the week of March 8 - 12, Blair and Marc co-taught a one-week "Catalyst" at the Univesity of Minnesota. Catalysts are integral components in the School of Architecture's innovative new graduate curriculum, which won an AIA Education Honor Award in 2008. You can read about it here. Our catalyst, entitled, "Spatializing Routines," asked students to work in teams to research and diagram the production paths of two seamingly disparate food items in one cohesive drawing. One of the more successful examples, from students Katy Dale and Molly Eagen, is pictured above.
